This course is designed to create not only talented actors with excellent potential but to also mold media professionals who have expertise as associate film directors, program producers for TV channels, producers for live stage shows, scriptwriters, creative directors, and more. By the time you complete this course, you will no doubt be a well-known actor on our YouTube channel, OTT platform, and the feature films we create.

The Curriculum
Semester I
1st Quad
Theory
Theory of acting – part 1, history of drama, and basics of cinema.
Practical
Flexibility exercises, acting exercises, and improvisation. Experience acting in our short films and other works.
2nd Quad
Theory
Crafting visual images, communication skills, basics of creative makeup, basics of creative costume designing, and theory of acting – part 2.
Practical
Stage acting on various short sequences, acting practice on various short sequences in different creative moods, and acting practice in short films.
Semester II
3rd Quad
Theory
History of drama, dubbing practice, creative makeup, editing, shots, and lenses.
Practical
Acting practice with songs, short films, and web series.
4th Quad
Theory
Improvisation and creating a role. rehearsal for feature films, and camera movements.
Practical
Practical training on makeup and costumes to accompany various characters in acting. Practical training to read the scripts of the films produced by Wayanad Film Institute and to reach the inner emotional state of the character. Other preparations for acting in films. Illustration of films and character handling.
Course Fees
Course fees amount to ₹95,000 + GST per semester.
