Molding experts in the field of design and animation. When the course is completed, students will have dealt with all the areas of design and animation such as vector design, raster graphics, web design, 3D animation, stop motion animation, the basics of photography, and visual effects.
Career Opportunities
As an animator, graphic designer, web designer, VFX artist, storyboard artist, and so on for feature films and various television series.
The Curriculum
Semester I
1st Quad
Theory
History of art and design, elements of graphic design, the fundamentals of creative film and media production, visualization, and illustration.
Practical
Familiarity with software such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3DS Max, Adobe Illustrator, Premiere, Avid, and so on.
2nd Quad
Theory
Rudimentary animation drawing, green matte, and photographic composition. The fundamentals of all aspects of film direction, media production, and scriptwriting. CGI, Compositing, and Motion capture.
Practical
Learning to use Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and Avid software. Practices with professional film cameras, editing systems, and sound recording equipment.
Semester II
3rd Quad
Theory
Basics of animation, graphic design, and web design. The fundamentals of visual effects, cinematography, film editing, CGI, compositing, and motion capture.
Practical
Learning to use Autodesk Maya and 3DS Max, visualization techniques, learning design studies, and design process and thinking.
4th Quad
Theory
Advanced illustration techniques, designing moving images, 3D design, CGI, compositing, and motion capture.
Practical
Green matte shooting of special effects fights, special effects explosions, and going through iconic special effects scenes. Creating all special effects for a film.
Course Fees
Course fees amount to ₹95,000 + GST per semester.
